ABOUT THE TOUR
Is it very scary?
Yes! The purpose of the haunt is to scare, frighten, and entertain you.

How long does the tour take?
The self guided tours through both attractions take approximately
20 - 30 minutes; not including the wait in line for admission.

When is the best time to attend?
Customers will have the best experience if they arrive early in the evening; and earlier in the month, and on Thursday and Sunday evenings. This minimizes the amount of time necessary to gain admission; and allows the performers more time to entertain you. We recommend Timed and VIV Tickets as the fastest ways for prompt admission.

Will the monsters touch me?
No. However due to the nature of the attraction (which is very dark with close passageways) – there may be occasional brushes or incidental bumps. The Scare-A-Torium utilizes trained actors who strive to avoid physical contact
with all patrons.

Can I touch the monsters?
No. Please don’t touch, grab, or punch any of the performers and they won’t touch you. Also, please do not touch the props and other items in the haunt. Have fun and let everyone else have fun too!

How old does a child need to be and/or is it okay for younger kids?
The haunted attractions are intended to be scary. We have no age restrictions so long as the child is (a) accompanied by adult supervision, and (b) wants to go through on his/her own will with no one forcing him/her through. All kids are different. If you think your children will enjoy the scares; then bring them. Please use appropriate judgment, and remember there are no refunds. Our attractions are not intended for younger audiences.

We offer Family Friendly “Lights On” Tours every Sunday afternoon in October from 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm which is suitable for most children over the age of 6.

Are the attractions the same this year?
The themes of our attractions change dramatically each year. Expect new effects, sets, and scares!

Do you sell beverages and souvenirs at your attractions?
Yes. The Scare-A-Torium features a small gift shop: the Scare Store - where bottles of water, cans of soda, souvenir t-shirts, hats, makeup and other items may be purchased. The Scare Store is open at 6:00 pm nightly (4:00 pm on Sunday); and closes at 10:00 pm on Thursday and Sunday; Midnight on
Friday and Saturday.

FUN FOR FAMILIES
What are the Sunday Lights-On Family Tours?
Younger children and their parents can attend on Sundays from 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm for a lights-on tour of The Scare-A-Torium with friendly tour guides. The house and scenic lights are turned on and there should be no super scary monsters during these tours. The “Lights On” Tour admission is only $7 for guests 13 and older. must be accompanied by an adult to participate in Lights On tours. This is a great opportunity for the young ones, and persons of all ages to enjoy a seasonal fall activity by visiting an exciting haunted attraction without the fear of the dark or of being terribly frightened. It’s also a wonderful way to see all the detail and work that’s involved in the artwork, design and, creation of a haunted attraction. Members of the Ghost Busters of Columbus will serve as tour guides. A portion of Sunday “Lights-On” Tour proceeds are donated to
local community organizations.
